Our Story
Pressed and Preserved is a small family-run (mother and daughter) business based in Solihull, England, which Janet founded in 2020. What started as a childhood hobby identifying and pressing wildflowers, combined with a love for art, evolved into collecting and pressing local wildflowers in more recent years, arranging and framing them in both contemporary and traditional designs. This venture quickly expanded due to requests from family and friends. Janet began taking orders for bouquet preservation, where wedding flowers are pressed or dried three-dimensionally and framed to create a lasting memory of the happy couples special day. As the business blossomed with hundreds of sales, it became a family affair, with Janet's daughter, Laura, joining to help with flower preservation and floral art design, while her husband, Michael, took on the tasks of framing, packaging and shipping the finished pieces.

Although we specialise in preserving wedding bouquets, we also create bespoke pieces, for example, using flowers from occasions such as Valentines Day, birthdays, anniversaries and gender reveals to create unique keepsakes. We also preserve farewell flowers in memory of a loved one.

It is a privilege and a pleasure to preserve life's special memories for you
and future generations.
